Motivated by Money

In life the majority of people are motivated by money. Crimes are committed because people are greedy and want a large sum of cash. In almost any given situation, if money is involved there is always some type of issue. Although I have never worked in a restaurant, I know people who have and dividing tips is usually an issue. Some individuals believe it should be divided equally even if only one or two people do all the work. It is not a fair system because the lazy servers and/or bussers count on the hard working people to collect higher tips. I know a person who always serviced a few waiters and waitresses in an upscale restaurant. They happened to be women and they saw how hard this person really worked. They always tipped the busser secretly and he ended up receiving twice as much as the other workmates. This busser often made twice the amount as his coworkers. Of course, this is always true when the money is being distributed by an inheritance. Often the person in charge, the Successor Trustee, will be fair but that is not always the case. They will literally cheat their siblings, lie about expenses and outright steal any and all funds that are available. Then, they disappear. The parents never wanted anything like that to happen but the person who suddenly had control of all the funds was immediately motivated by money and would be overcome with greed. In the Good Gus series, there was no real opportunity for anyone to be motivated by money. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones. Hard copies, personally autographed, are available through our website www.goodgusbooks.com along with past blogs for your reading enjoyment.
