Arrogant

Many people in the world today are extremely arrogant. There is one word that truly describes these types of individuals and that is they are smug.  They are so pretentious and believe they are superior to everyone.  Did it ever occur to anyone that this might be the reason prejudices started? The people believing they were superior to others for any reason they chose.  The videos in Facebook are continually presenting this scenario.  I think too, that when parents go above and beyond and give their children everything, they breed an arrogance that would take a great deal of effort to erase. All children as they mature think their parents are stupid.  Then, they begin to realize that they are not so dumb after all.  In many of the Facebook videos the children do initially outsmart their parents because the parents believe their children love them and they are just trying to the best possible for them.  However, once they learn what their children are up to they change everything.  This is also true with women who are cheated by their partners or husbands.  I have written about this in the past as the women quietly succeed in changing everything into their favor.  This also occurs with parents.  Even in the political arena many of  the politicians have an arrogance and disdain for the tax paying citizens who are making them wealthy.  We need to return to being kind to everyone and utilize the old Boy Scout Motto, “Do a good deed every day.”  It wouldn’t hurt.  In the Good Gus series the books are all about being kind and doing good deeds. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
