There are times in our lives when we all make huge mistakes some worse than others. I saw an aricle today about a woman who fell in love after three months and moved in with her boyfriend. The first thing she realized was that he suddently wasn’t her soul mate. They truly had different tastes in living. In addition, he would arbitraily make decicsions regarding their lives and living conditions and not consult her. Some of the other issues was not resolving the financials before moving in together. There are a few more but that is a fair amount for a start. I knew a woman who didn’t move in with her partner until they were married. That is when she realized a few things. The first was that the was an alcoholic and second he owed the IRS over ten thousand dollars. One day when he was away on a trip, her father and brother slipped over to their condo and she cleaned her things out. They did throw out about twenty wine bottles. She immediately filed for an annulment which saved her from his tax bill. He was not happy. She had the brains to catch her huge mistake in time though. I had a client once who thought it would be safe if she transferred her home in California to her son. It was a huge mistake. He gave it a few months, then put her home up for sale, sold it and she was suddenly homeless. She believed that of her five children he was the most trustworthly. It turns out she was absoultely worng and the one who was least trustworthy took her in and gave a place to live. Do you know anyone or have you made huge mistakes?
