The fashion industry has always had various colors as the one each year. There were colors that were in and then out. Back in the 1950’s young men in particular, wore pink shirts. Today it is considered taboo for a teenage boy to wear that color. I would think that it just doesn’t matter. Bright vibrant colors look quite nice on individuals. When I previously lived in Ireland, colors were quite popular. Many individuals from Nigeria wore beautiful outfits that appeared to be made of silk. People appreciated their appearances rather than criticize them. There is continual discussions about freedom yet why are people discriminated against for wearing bright colors or even the dark dreary shades. For many years plaids were the rage now they aren’t. Fashions with varying degrees of plaids are offered primarily during the holiday season only. If people are going to criticize clothing appearances than the ripped jeans, baggy pants, backwards hats, skin tight shirts, etc. should be taken into account. The fashion industry talks about designs yet if individuals don’t follow their up to date fashions they are out of sync. I know I mentioned previous about being in a restaurant in the greater Los Angeles area and being discriminated against because my family, although nicely dressed, was not in the latest fashion. It still amazes me when I remember the second waiter telling us why the first one wouldn’t wait on our table. There are many things wrong in the world but fashion is not at the top of anyone’s list.
