Considerate

Have you ever noticed that as time goes by people become less considerate?  It is a daily occurance.  The kindness of the holidays is about over which means the rudeness and lack of consideration raises its ugly head. I think it starts out when we were young.  If a child is bullied, picked on and in general made fun of, they tend to learn towards not wanting to bother with anyone or be polite. I saw an old “Murder She Wrote” in which a woman was arrested for a crime she didn’t commit. Mrs. Fletcher took in her son and instantly the kids at school started harrassing him calling his mother a jailbird.  Not only was that mean but extremely unfair to the boy. In many of the videos on Facebook, the children who are inconsiderate are really bullies.  They knock over food trays, trip other students, make fun of them and often when they can hurt them. In many of the shows the parents go after the bullies’s parents but to no avail. The parents refuse to believe that their child did anything wrong even though the conversation easily proves otherwise.  This is applicable to both boys and girls.  Many times in the workplace the lack of consideration of employees is dispicable.  You will find managers forcing people to work late even if they have a family. They don’t seem to care if their underlings have any type of obligations. Of course, you freuently see this display of behavior in movies and TV shows. Yes a business needs to keep up and be efficient.  However, it is important to have solid productive workers.  If they are treated poorly or not considered in any way they will do a poor job which will reflect on the bottom line.  It is important to take into account all factors to make a business a success.  Being a considerte boss or manager is the first step don’t you agree?
