Many people are afraid and insecure now in their everyday lives.  Many are afraid of the vaccine, and can’t decide if they should take it or ride it out.  From my experience with a family member, it is a horrible sickness.  Others are scared that if they take it they may die.  Being insecure causes people to delay in making decisions and frequently make the wrong ones.  For example, you decide you would like to go on holiday.  In the United States next weekend is a big holiday, the Fourth of July.  It is Independence Day.  If you think you want to travel, you should have already made your reservations as the longer you wait, the more the prices will increase.  The insecure feeling of making the right decision will generally cost more that if you had confidence in yourself and made the choice from the beginning.  Many people in the United States are now faced with eviction at the end of this month.  Their lack of confidence and feelings of insecurity by delaying a decision could literally make them homeless.  Yes it has been difficult navigating through the pandemic, but there are jobs and if it’s not the perfect one but you are offered an opportunity it beats being homeless.  People who are afraid all of their lives end up with exactly what they feared, nothing.  If they believe they will never succeed, marry the right person, land their dream job and/or live in their dream home, will not have any of their wishes because their feelings of being insecure and making a choice will have stopped them.  In the Good Gus series there is no time to feel insecure and hesitate on a decision.  Often it was critical.  The books are online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.  “Misplaced Trust” is easily found online at 24 Symbols, Apple, Nook, Kindle, Kobo, Page Foundry, Scribd, Playster and Tolino.
