why-mewhy-sign Have you ever wondered why bad things happen to good people?  There are individuals who go about their daily lives and yet there seems to be a black cloud that is hanging over them all the time.  They are kind and decent people, yet if anything is going to go wrong for anyone it is always them.  For example, there are people who are on government assisted medical programs in the United States.  However, if they decide they wish to contribute to society by getting a job, the programs immediately cut them off.  Why?  They really cannot afford their medical bills, yet they have a condition or disease that is incurable but they want to at least contribute to their fair share of taxes.  Sometimes these individuals are forced to buy their medications on the black market and then when they can finally afford insurance, their rate, even though it is against the law, is almost triple of anyone else’s. Why you may ask.  No one can answer that question.  Children love to ask why to just about anything they do not know or understand.  It is every parent’s dream for their children to seek knowledge, yet, when they try to explain something the child will continually ask why until the parent wants to give up with so many questions.  It may start off simple as to why did something happen but then they want a further explanation until it sometimes seems endless.  When a couple breaks up they often ask themselves why did it happen and what could have gone wrong.  They generally blame themselves if there isn’t just one thing such as a partner who wouldn’t work and help support the family or cheating.  If it is cheating then the injured party asks themselves why and begin to wonder what is wrong with them.  In reality, there usually is nothing wrong with the person who was cheated on.  The fault lies with the cheater.  In the Good Gus Series, many of the residents ask Sheriff Gus why when something happens, particularly a weather event.  His knowledge stems from reading and its importance is a wonderful lesson for the young reader.  The published books are available exclusively on Kindle worldwide.  If you are wondering why you were chosen to handle a person’s finances, or the estate, don’t question it.  Instead read “Misplaced Trust” which is also available on Kindle, Nook, Apple and several popular e-book websites.
