Smuggling animals is becoming quite popular. I have seen articles about people bringing all types of animals illegally on airplanes and getting caught. This includes all types such as alligators, birds, snakes, etc. Now they are finding that people are smugggling animals into children’s play houses that alows the children to jump on the balls. I find this a litte foolish as these people always end up getting caught. Years ago people would drive from New York to Florida for winter breaks. As there was no searching, they would buy baby alligators, crocodiles, snakes, lizzards and other animals accustomed to living in Florida. Once they became too big they would flush them down the toilet. Eventually, the city workers would come across them in the sewers and be shocked. Today the New York sewers are full of smuggled animals. I just saw an article today about a woman smuggling animals in her suitcase from the Phillipines Of course, she was caught. Each country has their own rules and possibly jail times and fines. I considerate it to be cruel to the animals, don’t you? As there were no planes during the Good Gus era, this was not an issue.
