Coffee

There are many pros and cons regarding coffee. It happens to be my life blood and here is the thing. I only drink decaf. I once gave up coffee for three days when my children were teenagers. They literally begged me to return to drinking it. I began drinking coffee when I was three. I lived with my grandparents and back then they bought regular coffee at the grocery. At that time, they lived in the city in a row house. When the summer weather was pleasant, we would take the bus or the EL, which is an above ground trolly or train, to the beach. My grandmother always made crab meat sandwiches and I brought my doll with me. Along with the food there was always a glass jug of coffee wrapped in a towel to keep it warm. My grandfather fished and in between taught me how to dive. It probably wasn’t the right drink and it may be why I am so short. However, today, there are all types of coffees and shops to go with it. I know I previously mentioned in another blog that I didn’t know about the Dutch Brothers was actually selling coffee thinking it was a paint shop. They always do have a long line when I go by. Of course, there are many articles about the benefits of coffee. They do say may help such as increased energy, boosting of your brain, weight management, and possibly increase longevity of life. The experts do state that it does support your heart and reduces risks of depression. All positive benefits. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
