Codependent

A codependent relationship is not the best. Narcissists fit this category.  They have a low self esteem although they project the opposite.  They do harm to anyone they are or were involved with including hurting them physically, lying about them and bringing false charges against them, seeking revenge and all the while acting as if they were a victim.  They are quite vicious.  I continually see short reels on Facebook about narcissists and they are never pleasant.  Being codependent upon another person can also occur if a person was mistreated as a child.  They could have had a parent that was cruel and then they end up depending upon the other parent.  There are families of many ethnicities who bond so strongly, possibly through difficult times, that they end up being dependent upon each other which in the the scheme of things in life may not be a bad thing. Of course, there are the people who end up addicted to medications.  They may start out using pills for healing and then become dependent.  There are also psychological groups that have codependent members.  They have great difficulty functioning alone and tend to rely on the members. Lastly, there is food.  People can easily become addicted to fast food because of the ingredients.  I even saw an article about this.  It is a method of a system for returning customers. In many of the TV shows or movies whenever there is a problem the women go for the ice cream and the men for the beer.  Neither are ideal choices. I saw my first St. Paddy’s Day commercial.
