When we hear the word overdose we automatically think of drugs. It is my understanding that the opiods are highly addictive. I was told about a neighbor who is an older man who had to go to the hospital because he was taking one hundred of the opioids a day. He is a large man, but that is also a very high number. Many people in their desire to become healthy start taking supplements. They automatically assume the higher the dosage the quicker the pills will work. It is a foolish concept. You only end up making yourself sick. Not to mention that today I saw an article about Vitamin C and the damage you can do to your body by taking high amounts. I have written about nutritional supplements in the past as I am a big believer in their positive effects. However, I do not believe in the overdose method. I think moderate is best. Plus, if you check out the articles online, you will make the right choices when ordering. Most people believe the more the better but it is not true in everything. Yes, I have the most powerful mixer because in that case the higher the watts the finer your baking products turn out. I also believe this is true of blenders. Most people, but not all, like a large engine in their vehicles. Due to the rising costs of petrol the engines have been toned down. You can still go over eighty with the right car with a six cylinder engine. In the Good Gus series, horses had all the speed. Also since there wasn’t a pharmacy, they couldn’t have anyone overdose.
