Jobs

There are many types of jobs in the world today.  Not all jobs need or can be accomplished with a computer.  Recently I have seen a few videos on Facebook about janitorial jobs.  The first one involved the son of a judge.  He thought he could do anything.  A female janitor was cleaning and he began spitting sunflower seeds on the floor.  She asked him to stop and clean them up.  He rudely said no that it was her job and she had to do it.  His father then walked in and he denied everything. A few days later the janitor was picking up her daughter at school when she saw the judge’s son bullying her daughter.  The next day she went into the judge’s office to clean. He asked her if his son had really behaved that way.  Her response was yes.  The judge found it difficult to believe.  She then proceeded to tell him about his son bullying her daughter and telling her she would never succeed in life.  He judge could not accept it. The janitor told him to go down to the school and he could see for himself.  Sure enough,  as he was standing just outside of the classroom, he heard his son bullying the girl and two of his friends laughing. He was furious.  He walked into the classroom and caught his son.  He told him to stop and the son said why she would never amount to anything in life.  The father was livid and decided his son’s punishment would be to work as a janitor at the school.  Now the son experienced the same treatment by other students.  It was a good lesson.  A second story also includes a female janitor with another bully. He wanted the janitor to sit at his desk for a few hours.  The janitor was unsure about doing it. His boss heard everything.  The boss fired him because she figured he was skipping out on his job and wanted the janitor to cover.  When the boss told him he was not doing the right thing he said well she’s just a stupid janitor. The boss instantly fired him.  He was not happy.  The boss then told the janitor that she was appreciated and that there would be opportunities for her as she could see how hard she actually worked.  The one thing people should never do is insult, criticize and bully a worker because of their job.  All jobs are important and the people who do them regardless of the level should be appreciated, don’t you agree?
