Have you ever noticed that people are often misleading when dealing in business, romance, and even the workplace?  They seem to find it easy as it is just another form of lying.  For example, yesterday an adult child was calling the office pretending to be her mother.  She was using misleading phraseology which if we were the average people we may have believed her.  However, the law is strict and she was trying to get a copy of her mother’s trust.  She works in a jail so she is familiar with changing words to sound truthful.  It sounds crazy but this is actually true.  This is not even the same person I wrote about a few days ago.  That is why I wrote my book, “Misplaced Trust” as the examples I blog about are only a few of what people do.  The greed factor tends to make people do a number of things which are not right.  I just discovered “Pocket FM” on Facebook which is an app.  The first story I have been following truly focuses around greed.  One family goes out of their way to be rude, insulting, arrogant and try to make themselves appear as victims.  It is facinating as it is so similiar to the people I have dealt with for the past twenty-three years. When I started out as a paralegal, I worked in real estate.  It was easy to understand the laws.  Then I was moved into trust administration which is settling an estate plan after a person has passed.  That was when I began to learn about true greed.  Many relatives were misleading when calling into the office and I had to learn the laws very quickly. When you think about other ways of deceiving people, it occurs in business on a consistent basis.  People make their accounting look perfect when it is possible that a company is in debt and failing.  This is also true in romance.  A person may appear to be the kindnest individual yet once the relationship takes hold everything changes.  Learning to cope with all this is a chore.  Do you know people who tend to be misleading?
