Why do people go out of their way to embarrass others?  There are continual videos on Facebook short clips also on YouTube and often even in families.  The desire to hurt another should not be allowed. It seems easy to find a person’s weak spot and then attack them. It’s a simple gesture in many of the videos such as the popular person and their friends attacking another person because of their appearance, their intellectual ability and so much more.  The need for them to put others down and boost themselves up is sad. Often in other shows, families with money, go out of their way to hurt others.  If they are not doing as well as another rich family, they blame them, family members, and various actons. There seems to be a continual battle to be number one and embarrass anyone who gets in their way.  Its a foolish waste of time.  When we were in school, the children who came from what was considered the ‘wrong side of the tracks’ or wore used clothing were continually harrassed and embarrassed.  Why you ask when these kids are struggling? Growing up many of us were not as well off as the other students.  We strived to look our best but frequently it was never enough.  The low self esteem person needed to insult the poorly dressed students.  The others didn’t even defend the picked on child.  They just didn’t want to get involved.  I will say, though, that lately there have been more videos on Facebook of kids standing up for each other. Everyone wants peace particularly during the holiday season.  Yet, there are so many who love fighting so much more.  Don’t you agree?
