What is talk without action? Most of the time it is useless. Good conversation is one thing, being polite and friendly is also acceptable. What is not are the people who talk big and do nothing. For example, a person claims they are really successful and can do anything. When it comes right down to it, they disappear and run away because it was talk without action. I saw a video the other day about a billionaire’s daughter. She wanted to be liked for herselff so she started a BBQ stand with her three brothers as backups. She met what she thought was a nice man and they married. She worked long and hard to make her food stand a success. What she didn’t know came as a huge surprise. One day her mother-in-law appeared at her stand with divorce papers. She demanded a divorce because he son was in love and planned to marry a bilionaire’s daughter. She refused. She thought her husband loved her. The next the son appeared with a woman who claimed to be the billionaire’s daughter. Now she knew this was all a lie because she was the real daughter. She agreed and signed the papers. She told her brothers, sold her stand and moved back home with them. About a week later her father was holding a gala event. The ex and his now wife and his mother attended. Her brothers had made sure that they were allowed into the home. Everything went smoothlyy until the billionaire father made the nnouncement introducing his daughter. Then everything fell apart for the ex, his mother and the fake daughter. When they realized that they had been fooled they were furious. They tried to speak to the real daughter but her brothers stopped them. They tried to apolgize but they were thrown out instead. Once again the all talk and no action surfaced. The fake daughter disappeared with a warrant for her arrest. There is an old term for this type of behavior it is called false bravado. Do you know anyone who is all talk without action? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
