There are people you meet in life who are never satisfied. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances are they always find fault. There are the individuals who are constantly complaining. I think children learn from their parents. If one or both parents are never satisfied, they express their unhappiness with whatever the situation is repeatedly. This gives a bad example to young children. They begin to realize that they can act the exact same way. Just look at a few videos on Facebook. If a person is wealthy in one of the clips, they literally complain about everything. They could be at a five star restaurant and still find fault. I have seen several clips from the movie, “The Help.” I find it too painful to actually watch the entire movie. All the women did nothing but complain except one. They were never satisfied. I also thought that they were cruel, lazy, inconsiderate and extremely unfair to “The Help” and even their own children. The maids seemed to raise their young children. It almost seems as if they had their kids only for show. I loved Celia and Minny as characters. They were the best. Celia learned how to cook from Minny and she was pleased with her teachings and the end results. The other women looked down on her but she didn’t care. The point being that the people who are never satisfied are individuals you may never want to associate with simply because where ever they are they are unhappy. I would rather go through life with as much joy as possible. If you are never satisfied how can you succeed? Everything will always be bad and give you that negativity that does not bring success. If Col. Sanders had thought like that there would have never been Kentucky Fried Chicken. So the next time you find yourself stuck with a person who is never satisfied, extricate yourself. You will be much happier, don’t you agree? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
