There are cities here in the states where people have moved that have become too crowded. It’s not just California any more. Many do not have sufficient public transportation or roads to accomodate the increased population. California has been that way for decades and only increased over time. I knew people who would plan to leave for work at five in the morning to arrive on time in the greater Los Angeles area. Right now Nurse Joyce is commuting over one hour to Calabasas. The traffic is horrific. In the greater Boston area, everything including homes, high rise businesses, apartments have been in place for decades. When I lived in Charlestown with my grandparents, we could still walk and take the El into Boston to Haymarket Square. We also walked to the grocery when necessary. Now people drive everywhere and sections that had row houses and a few empty lots are now full. Of course the row house that my grandparents owned is now valued over two million. It was a four story that has now been changed to two flats. Other cities that I have seen on home shows such as Chicago also have the same issues. People have moved about in the states hoping for a better life, less traffic and more free time. Sadly, that is no longer true. The cost of living has increased so much that many familuies have moved to othere states. Texas now has a larger population in the Dallas Ft. Worth area with developments being started at very high prices. Even downtown Dallas has changed and is extremely expensive whether for homes or office space. I have lived in cities in several states and other countries. Years ago I walked everywhere in Ireland with only taking the bus to go to Dublin City Center. I would take the bus to a gym and then walk home until they went under. I originally walked to a gym right near by until the muscle weight lifters particuarlary from other countries took over and were borderline rude. It also became too crowded.
