Pirates

When you think about pirates stories come to mind. However, they are back in the news this time in Somolia. However, the captain of the cargo ship was prepared. He sent his crew below to the cafeteria. His first mate stayed with him. He decided the smart move was to set a trap. As the priates boarded the cargo ship, their captain, whom they called Jack, told them to join into twos. This was the cargo ship’s captain’s chance. He lured the men with a container full of brand new IPhones. Their greed overtook the pirates. Little by little the others found the phones. Once firmly secure, the first mate locked the door. It was a large ship so the priates were wandering about when they found the IPhones. That was it. He called the Coast Guard. He had decided he didn’t want fighting, gunfire or possible fires. It was a smart move. Years ago pirates traveled  along the coast of Italy. However, they were no match for the Italians.  It wasn’t long until they realized they needed a change of route. Naturally, there was gun fighting and fires. The pirates decided it just wasn’t worth it. The fact that people gather in groups to rob others is amazing. They are too lazy to find real work, start a business or learn skills or a trade to succeed. Part of the reason that the prisons are full everywhere is that robbing, stealing and cheating are much easier for these individuals rather than working. Many are lazy and do not want to work. Sometimes they obtain jobs only to steal from the companies. It gives a really bad name for the decent people who work every day and do the right thing. Of course, that is the main theme of all the Good Gus books. Remember if you would like my free budget, just email me at mae@misplacedtrustbook.com.
