Condemn

Why do guilty people condemn others? Today in social media the attorney for the megachurch pastor in Southlake, Texas,  is now going public to condemn the twelve year old girl for dressing in a revealing manner his his abuse to her. Seriously, this blew my mind. I cannot get past it. She was still a twelve year old child.  Yes the clothing manufacturers, along with the gaming industry are now using various outfits that really are inappropriate for young girls. I had to search online to find what both my daughter and I would consider an appropriate bathing suit for my granddaughter. Most of the bathing suits for young girls, not teens are too revealing. We did find two nice one piece bathing suits that she liked and looked nice on her. How can this attorney accuse this young girl?  The pastor preached morals yet where are his? His victim still dressed in flowerly pajamas and liked to play with Barbies. What is worse is that the pastor did this twenty-five years ago when attire for young girls was more age appropriate. She was also condemed for inappropriate behavior. It just doesn’t matter. You cannot be a preacher and then be immoral.  The worst part was that this was not a one time occurance. She began writing to the pastor in  2004 after years of counselling. It wasn’t until she saw a documentary that she realized it was a crime. The first time he responded was 2007.  What does this tell you about the attorney?  A shark yes, wanting her name in the media yes, but to defend a guilty man of repeated offences to a twelve year old girl is dispicable. The trouble with the world today is people spend a great deal of time condemning others rather look inward to themselves. People blame others for things they are usually at fault for doing. They never like to look at themsleves or anything they may have done wrong.  It is much easier to blame and condemn others, don’t you agree?
