Negative Comments

And so it begins with the politics in the United States. Every day now there are negative comments about the political races.  It doesn’t matter who is doing the talking it is always unpleasant. Take a look at inflation. It is a huge problem in the states and now the world. Who is to blame? If you ask a politician they will name names but that isn’t really the answer. I hate this period due to the fact that the continual barrage of adverts, negative comments, back biting, fighting, sarcasm and so much more is endless. Whatever happened to people running a clean election? Of course, this is true of every country so it just doesn’t make a difference. Just today a celebrity was complaining that now that she is in her fifties men are no longer interested in her. Was this a ruse just to gain attention? There are dating apps for people her age, with older people marrying, dating, living together just looking to find happiness. Just because you are famous doesn’t mean men don’t like you. There may be different love interests because of her age but the windows for romance are far from closed. I have read about people in their eighties marrying. There were negative comments in those articles because people were happy that these older individuals found a positive way to live their lives.  People who constantly make negative comments are unhappy. The worst part is that even if you are nice to them, help them, try to teach them to appreciate the good things in life, they just can’t. The negativity is a way of life for them. Do you know anyone who constantly makes negative comments and more importantly are they happy? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
