Get a Life

How fequently would you like to tell someone to get a life?  I, of course, am talking about the people who NEVER mind their own business. They always make comments to you regardless if they are merited. They just need to stop. What on earth possess these people to say such things? In many of the stories on Facebook, Pocket FM, Reddit and a few others, they cite these individuals. They just can’t seem to live their own lives.  I think the worst part is that they make assumptions which are usually wrong. Then, they continue on with their conversations based on their ideas and not the truth. It’s as if the Karens of the world can’t quit. I know I have written about the Karens who have criticized others when they were completely wrong. What is worse is that after they are caught and it is pointed out to them, they don’t apologize. No one is always right one hundred percent of the time. Yet these people believe that they are. This is also true with people who interfere with individuals in sports. They think they know what the player made have done wrong and so critize them. They aren’t the coach or the umpire so how would they even know? I saw a movie about a baseball player. He loved the game but had been injured previously in high school. He recovered and had a chance at a baseball camp in California that chose players for the big leagues. What was most interesting about him was that he really did know and understand the game. He helped many of his fellow players succeed. In the end, his shoulder went out again. He thought he had to quit and return to the family farm. However, the coach saw his abilities and ended up finding a coaching job for him. His father, in the beginning, told him that baseball was no life. Then he realized that his son did need to get a life in baseball. I can remember the older ladies in the city watching everthing that went on every day. They truly had no life. Do you know people like that?
