Many people believe that high cholostrol is due to diet. Not really. Many individuals who live active healthy lives still have high cholosterol. Do you know why? They inherit it from other family members. Many members of my family have high cholestrol. Of course, people fail to realize that the Irish have a diet high in pork. One time, when I was living in Ireland, there was a problem with the pigs. The next day the grocery was sold out of everything. There was barely any chicken left. As they ate pork on a daily basis, they had to find an instant substitute, Of course, we always have fish in the grocery but that time there was barely any left. The important part about keeping your cholosterol down is that it also aids in avoiding dementia. Exercie is always a key. Many people simply sit about watching the TV. One of the things the Irish have going for them is that we do walk every day. My cousin’s father who did have dementia used to walk for hours and disappear. It was not easy. The point of keeping your cholesterol down is to avoid hardening of your arteries and a future heart attack. There are many individuals who do their best to keep it down but it doesn’t always work. The medical professionals are recommending citrus bergamont, with niacin and garlic rather than use a statin. People have beecome ill from taking those pills. When my late Aunt Helen was in her seventies, her doctor made her stop. She was reasonable about her eating, walked every day and overall had a reasonable number. Are you fighting high cholesterol?
