Why do airline passengers believe that they are so entitled? I have seen a few articles about such behavior. For example, a woman completely lost it because a man in business class would not give up his seat to sit in coach so she could sit with her son. Why should he as he paid extra for his seat? A man on United Airlines flight began kicking his seat in what appears to have been some blind rage. He was finally restrained. There are also airline passengers who lose their tempers if the steward or stewardess pass them and they don’t notice until they are further down the isle to get rid of their trash so they yell and then throw it at them in the isle. Seriously, what is wrong with people and their complete lack of manners? I read about another incident in which a man passed away and the pilot had to stop at another airport. One of the airline passengers asked if they could have free drinks for the inconvenience. What an absolutely inconsiderate and rude person. How about the story of a drunk couple with their baby who boarded the plane late? They demanded a vacant seat next to a lady with a service dog. The man complete lost his temper, yelled at her, threw her bags in the isle and started pulling her dog onto the isle. The staff reacted by removing the man and told him if he didn’t stop he would have de-plane immediately. Many of these passengers feel that they have the right to do whatever they want. I don’t think it is fair to the other airline passengers, don’t you agree? The shopping craze is beginning.
