Trash Talk

Why is trash talk so prevelant? I simply cannot belive it.  Sometimes it is even on the media. What happend to taste, manners and class? It is one thing to criticize a person or group, but trash talk is unacceptable. It pushs down to the lowest of the low.  When I was young as is today, there were various classes. However, the degrees of class were clearly more defined. Many people were and still are judged by their appearance.I came from a poor home so my clothes were from thift shops. Sometimes the kids would recognize their clothes and I would be made fun including the boys. This is sadly true about most children. I went to upscale schools because it was a wealthy town and that was all they had. I think the worse part about having to wear used items is that the shoes that were already broken in by someone else often  hurt. Sometimes aunts wouuld buy new clothes for me which I treasured. It wasnt any easier for the boys who lived in the same predicament. The churches would have rummage sales and all the poor mothers would go. It was the best at the time. The trash talk now in the short reels in jurior high and high school is horrible. I saw a reel once about a girl who went on the bus and sat in the back with a few of her friends. A second group came on and told her to move. She refused. The first girl started trash talking. Then one of the girls in the back asked, “Do you know who her sister is?” She replied no and then she was informed that her sister was the head of an entire girls gang in the school. All of sudden she backed out, apologized profusely and walked away. The trash talk hitting on the short Facetime reels is terrible. It is beginning to appear every day.
