The new activists are promoting a variety of action including various types of boycotting. They obviously promote political actions but now they are going beyond that. They are caling for a variety of actions against companies, foods, and even individuals. This type of behavior was very popular in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. My daughter was in elementary school and she wold come home with new rules. We lived in a rural area but we had to learn to recycle. She objected to the brands of sneakers, and a few brands of clothes. I followed along as she was finding her own way. Today there are new events such as not going to any stores or buying anything online on February 28, 2025. Today they are talking about new boycotts. A pastor is beginning a forty day boycott of Target. He is asking people around the country to participate. There is also a week long boycott of Amazon will start March 14, 2025. It was announced by the same activists who did the twent-four hour boycott on February 28, 2025. What does tis all mean and how will it affect us? I don’t know do you?
