Laugh

There was an article today stating that children laugh twenty-five times more than adults. It is probably true. The older we become the more our sense of humor vanishes. It could the amount of stress of everyday life, bills, relationships, work, etc. I prefer comedies much more than dramas. I find it easier if I watch something light before drifting off to sleep. When we were young we thought everything was funny. Of course, in many of the reels on Facebook have both men and women laughing while they insult, berate and criticize other individuals all the time laughing and thinking it is funny. I don’t see how being unkind to a person is funny. I suspect that they have little self esteem so they take it out on others. The women in these reels are particularly horrible. They throw drinks at other women while insulting them and slap them across the face. Part of this malicious behavior may also stem from jealousy . While the casting is generally good looking women, it still doesn’t change anything. I love a good joke as do most people. It is the great moment when the punch line is spoken that makes you laugh and for a few seconds you have a pleasant moment. It is also a great stress reliever. I love jokes from children. They are always perfect in my mind, don’t you agree? In the Good Gus series no one makes fun of anyone except in book one “Pecos Meets Bad Bart” but that is because he was rude. In the end though, everyone got along. It is a good example of behavior for the young reader. I hope you will give the series a try.
