Wonder Pills

Everywhere you turn there are adverts and commercials for the wonder pills that will do everything.  They have ads for weight loss, arthritis, a variety of conditions to see your doctor for, anti aging, hair loss and so much more.  It is clear that the pharmaceutical companies are making billions around the world.  The lose weight ones are unbelievable.  You will lose pounds or grams just about overnight.  That is literally impossible unless you have surgery to remove the excess fat.  The idea of losing so much weight in such a short period would truthfully kill a person.  They never talk about exercise and eating right.  The wonder pill will solve it all.  The continual barrage of taking pills as acceptable may lead to other issues such as addiction.  It is easily understandable if you needs pills to maintain a health condition. The fentanyl craze is unbelievable.  A neighbor of mine had to go to the hospital as he was taking twelve pills a day.  His withdrawal was brutal. Just today in Ft. Worth, Texas nine hundred thousand fentanyl pills were confiscated.  I cannot even image that.  Is it possible that the continued acceptance of a wonder pill as a cure all leads to addiction?  I am a person who avoids pills at all cost.  I am, however, a nutrition nut and do take supplements on a daily basis. I think it is safer and healthier, do you? In the Good Gus series, Dr. Moore was their doctor along with Nurse Joyce.Check out the an e-book from the series with the child in your life. “Misplaced Trust” does have individuals who took pills.
