Repaying Rudeness

A friend sent me a reel today abut repaying rudeness. An older man was in line at a fast food breakfast restaurnat in his car. The woman behind him was honking her horn because he was taking too long. He was an older man in his early eighties. He placed his order and paid not only for his but the car behind him. All of a sudden the woman waved and said thank you. He thought the best way to repay rudeness was through kindness. It was a long line. When he finally made it to the window that gave your food, he showed the attendant his receipt and the one for the car behind him. He took both orders and left. He thought to himself two things. First younger people shouldn’t bother older men or women. Second it was the best way he knew to repay the car behind him for her rudeness. Now she had to drive around the building and sit in line all over again. I thought it was brilliant. Most rude people, yell, give the finger, say profanities and sometimes throw things. Without hurting anyone he taught that woman a lesson without being rude to her. Part of the problem with the world today is the unkindness people display towards others. They find it aceptable to be nasty and absolutely hate it when it happens to them. I think it was a good lesson, don’t you? In the Good Gus series, other than Bad Bart no one is rude to anyone. There are a few animals that could use a few manners but they were never taught. The stories remind children about good morals, good manners and kindness to everyone.
