Fifteen Minutes of Fame

When you look at the internet for news, what do you see? A great deal of people with their fifteen minutes of fame. It is not only getting old but who wants to see it any more?Take the royal family for example. William and Kate were labeled boring today after Harry’s visit. Of course they are. They are not looking for fifteen minutes of fame. They also have their finances in order. Prince Harry is all over social media and is having financial troubles. Most of the ventures that his wife, Meghan Markle tried failed financially. Of course there were many stories about the Emmys. There were three articles about Jenna Ortega wearing nothing but jewels as a top. The first time I saw it I was appauled. However, she did get her fifteen minutes of fame. Many people are getting their fifteen minutes of fame for  Charlie Kirk’s death. What I resent are the unkind and offensive remarks about him. They weren’t there or shot. Two little girls and their mum lost him forever. How can people make these remarks?  Is it that important to be noticed and recognized? I think people should rethink what they say. I wonder, would they like those words said about them? What do you think? There was no fifteen minutes of fame in the Good Gus series. Only kind people helping each other which is important for the young reader. It is available in e-book and paperback. “Misplaced Trust” has many characters none of whom want fifteen minutes of fame.
