There was an article today about the true nature of many deceased famous people. Some of these individuals I already knew about and maybe you the reader did too. Everyone knew that Steve Jobs never took showers. However, did you know he was terrible to his best friend. He made his girlfriend pregnant and then left her as soon as she became pregnant. He never even bothered with his child a daughter. He made himself look fabulous to the outside world but in reality he was not. The famous singer James Brown regularly beat his wives. My daughter and late husband saw him live on stage in Pahrump, Nevada. If they knew his true nature they never would have attended his show. I doubt that Hugo Boss would ever have had a business and been so successful if people knew he was a Nazi. The majority of customers would never have even considered his stock. I knew as a young girl that Jerry Lee Lewis married a thirteen year old girl. My friends and I were appaulled. I also knew about the infamous Bing Crosby. He was the picture of kindness in public. However, he beat his children. He was both physically and mentally abusive. Many of his children ended up with mental issues and addictions. What is worse was he was a Catholic and had been privately told to stop. How do you feel about these famous people now? In the Good Gus series, a French Prince landed in a hot air balloon. However, famous as he was, he was not like any of these people. Check out the series in paperback or e-book for the holidays. “Misplaced Trust” did not have famous people but they did have characters who were equally as bad as the ones I mentioned.
