Vulnerable

Often people have no idea how vulnerable they really are. When they feel comfortable in a relationship, they tend to spill secrets or  confessions of something in life. This is when their so called friend, partner, family member,  husband or wife weaponize it against them. They will remind a person of past mistakes while in an arguement or disagreement.  Truthfully it is emotional violence disguised as intimacy.  Of course, once this occurs the relationship becomes broken or destroyed. It is really part of a bully’s internal methods for hurting and destruction. For example, a student discovers that another student wears clothes from a thrift shop or hand me downs from a relative. This opens the door to nasty and mean remarks. It sadly doesn’t end there because they let other unkind kids know and before long their vulnerabily is exposed and they are emotionally destroyed. I have wondered if this makes them feel good or somehow magically fix their egos. In some ways they are emotional leeches. They take and leave  you with nothing. All the while they feel great and you feel drained. Anyone in these situations should find a way to end the relationship, leave if living together and even stop associating if this person is a family member. What do you think?
