Mental fitness is on the rise. It focuses on a variety of areas including mental wellness, beliefs, mindsets biology and trauma. The costs for this help is quite high. Mental wellness suggests to individuals to buy books, watch videos, practice meditation and in general focus on yourself while spending a reat deal of money. Many people try therapy. Because they have insurance it is often more cost effective for them. If you desired to completely change yourself you might need everything I just wrote. Even as I research helping a person attain mental fitness there is always a catch and always some type of long program or fee. If a person truly wishes to change, they need to start with one item at a time. Let’s say you feel inferior and like a loser. It might be easier to buy a book and follow it but what if you just started with positive words everyday? Instead of saying to yourself, “I am a loser. I feel inferior.” Try speaking, possibly out loud, “I am a winner. I am not inferior.” How do you think successful people think? Everyday they tell themselves they are successful and guess what they are. I am not a psychologist but I see so many programs for such high fees I thought I would try to offer a better solution one step at a time. What do you think? In the Good Gus series I wrote only positive thoughts for all characters. In that way the child reading the stories felt good after a read. Feel free to check it out in e-book or paperback at www.goodgusbooks.com. In Misplaced Trust” there are many characters who truly need mental fitness.
