How often do you witness people acting in a contemputious way? The complete lack of respect towards our fellow human beings is appalling. How frequently do you find yourself on a phone line with customer service who are rude to you, do not answer your questions, and in the end you are extremely frustrated? I particularly love if you are sick, go to urgent care and they have literally no clue what is wrong with you. They make you take a multiple of tests and still have no viable answer or solution. Their attitudes and tones leave little to be desired. When I lived in Ireland I had to call customer service for the internet. Mind you their business was just down the street. What was upsetting was that customer service reps barely spoke English and the jobs should have remained in the country as we were in a recession. Many of the videos on Facebook show a complete lack of respect. For example, in a number of the videos anyone who is homeless is treated poorly. They are still people and should not be treated in a contemptuous manner. They also have videos where rich people leave money by the entrance to job interviews with a person who looks down on their luck. Most of the prospective employees take the money. They always have one person who believes in not cheating and being fair to others. Do you know anyone who would be so contemptuous to homeless people and others in general? This type of behavior was unaceptable in the Good Gus series. Check out an e-book for a child in your life. You will be glad you did. Contemptuous behavior was the act of many of the characters in “Misplaced Trust.” Give it a try in e-book. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
