Several years ago I wrote a book about a baby elephant, “Toby Saves the Day.” In the story, Toby is rescused but ends up saving the day. It was the last day of school and Miss Patty had a party on Main Street. Everyone was there and Mary brought food from her Cafe’. Miss Patty, Gus and Mary set up tables, games, and a variety of activities for all the school children. All of a sudden Katie, who was in a wheelchair saw a mangy animal approaching the party. She called Sheriff Gus who instantly knew it was a sick and dangerous coyote. Before he had to do anything, Toby smashed through his gate and saved the day. Last Sunday, a fifty-two year old elephant escaped from the zoo in New Mexico. The zoo was closed at the time so no one was injured. The best part was that Alice, the name of the elephant, was called back to the zoo and she responded and returned without any problems. She literally walked back in calmly. There are frequent stories about baby elephants which are always a pleasure to read. “Toby Saves the Day” is just one of many of the stories in the Good Gus series. Give an e-book a try. There were no elephants in “Misplaced Trust” only true crime and greed. Enjoy an e-book it will be an interesting read. Visit the site and download an e-book. The books are available in e-book from the sites www.goodgusbooks.com and www.misplacedtrustbook.com. “Misplaced Trust” has a five-star rating on Amazon. It is about true crime and greed.
