I heard two stories today about Michael Landon. I thought I would share them today in my blog. When Michael Landon received his first paycheck from his first acting job he was so thrilled he went to Beverly Hills. He had earned two hundred sixty-four dollars or two hundred thirty-one Euros. He walked along looking at all the shops when he came across two boys staring into a toy shop window. He said hello and asked which toys they were interested in – one was a wagon and the other was a kite. He took them inside the shop and bought them what they wanted. Of course the boys were thrilled. However what he noticed was that he had a really good feeling inside. Then he realized that was what really mattered. The second story was about driving to work in Los Angeles. Even back then the traffic was backed up. People were yelling, curisng giving the finger and just being nasty in general. He thought to himself, “What is wrong with these people? Why are they taking their anger out on the other drivers?” It was then that he came up with the idea of a new TV show, “Highway to Heaven.” He thought these people were wasting all their time with anger when kindness would be much better. What do you think? Kindness was part of the Good Gus series. Today is too windy to be outside so an e-book read might brighten a child’s day. “Misplaced Trust” is simply about true crime and greed. It is also a good e-book read for today. Visit the site and download an e-book. The books are available in e-book from the sites www.goodgusbooks.com and www.misplacedtrustbook.com. “Misplaced Trust” has a five-star rating on Amazon. It is about true crime and greed.
