Disappearing Items

There are disappearing items that we don’t even notice that are occuring on a daily basis. For example, the first car I learned how to drive was a standard shift. They are no longer available in car dealerships or used cars for sale. I can still drive one today. I do not believe many people can say that. When I lived in Ireland, I had to walk to a pay phone to call my family in America. Eventually, I bought a cell phone. They still had a few but I doubt they still have them today. No one appears to hang out at malls or libraries any more. There was a time when students met at the library to study as a group or do a project. Between the internet and AI it is just not the same. Cell phones used to be all different sizes, shapes and colors. However not any more. Not only that they are now used for alarms rather than an alarm clock. I still have a digital clock, but I do admit to using a cell alarm. DVD players or even renting DVD’s seem to also be a thing of the past. Have you noticed these disappearing items? The only item from above that existed in the Good Gus series was a library. I even wrote a book entitled entitled “The New Library.” Give an e-book from the series a try for the child in your life. You will be happy you did. None of the disappearing items I mentioned were in “Misplaed Trust,” only greed and true crime. Give an e-book a relaxing read. Visit the site and download an e-book. The books are available in e-book from the sites www.goodgusbooks.com and www.misplacedtrustbook.com. “Misplaced Trust” has a five-star rating on Amazon. It is about true crime and greed.
