What is suddently going on with teens? Their behavior has abruptly become violent. Hundreds of teens without warning appeared last week in downtown Chicago. They were not behaving at all. They were jumping on cars and before long there were fights. Eventually the police showed up and put an end to it. They are seriously thinking about asking for a curfew. What makes me curious was this was a weekday. Why weren’t they home doing schoolwork? There were a few reports such as a female vendor being threatened with her own knife, and another about a boy who was beatened until he was unconscious. They called for emergrncy medical help. It took the police quite awhile to control the chaos as many of the teens were taunting them. Frequently, teens are affected by youth violence. This includes numerous types such as bullying, peer pressure, cyber bullying and even use of guns. There have been more than one article recently about teens going into schools and shooting it up.
