Irresponsible

What do you think when a person says someone is irresponsible? I think of people who just don’t care. They live beyond their means, they worry about what others think or say, they spend too much money to make themselves appear successful and popular, they purchase expensive clothes, etc. that is just the tip of the iceberg. Many people know their zodiac sign but not their credit score. Then there are the individuals who go out drinking every night. They then need to call in sick as they are hungover. Being irresponsible particuarly with money in an effort to prove yourself mostly to strangers is foolish. Let’s not forget the drama which I have seen on Facebook. The women are adults and no longer in high school so they should grow up and just stop. It is very immature. Of course, let’s not forget the individuals who go out partying all weekend and then have to ask their parents for rent on the following Monday. Again irresponsible and immature. When we became adults we were supposed to learn how to be responsible. Yet many people do not. I know a person who is literally never on time. I have seen him miss flights because he was late. He has even shown up for court late. He believes he can do no wrong and is constantly in debt. He is about to file bankruptcy for the third time. Blaming others for his failure to actually work and earn money is extremely irresponsible. Often people who work at home tend to be irresponsible. I have worked at home for forty years and I find it much easier not only to do the work but to fix problems that arise in the workplace easier to solve. What do you think about irresponsible people? In the Good Gus series everyone is held accountable and are responsible.  It it the best way to teach children without them realizing it is a lesson. I receive emails frequently from the school district in Ft. Worth claiming that children don’t know how to read. The best way to start is to read to them which I have offered to do. I have read in schools in California, Tennessee and Ireland. All the children loved it. Just today I spoke to a woman about why a living trust is much more important than a Will. She is going to look up “Misplaced Trust” to better understand what I was talking about.
