Recession

Many of us realize it, but the government refuses to admit that we are in a recession. People aren’t spending as much as they would particularly during the summer. There are less visitors in Las Vegas which has always been a key tourist destination for the world. I have seen offers from hair dye retailers lowering their prices so that people will buy two or more so that they can save on postage. There is an overall difference in the individuals working minimum wage. The college students that would normally work as interns in various companies are now at fast food restaurants. In an article I saw today, a woman pointed out that the women shopping at a discount store were wearing plain, drab clothing that looked more utilitarian. Many of the milenialls are in transition. They are looking for an income but the lack of positions available is giving them a whole new perspective on what to do with their lives. The same article also pointed out the sudden increase in divorces. Most couples can’t handle the stress but if they have children, separating and divorcing only exacerbates the situation. We have also seen more accidents which quite possibly might be due to bald tires. It is not easy. What have you been doing to cut back because of the recession?
