There are large companies that advertise low prices primarily for clothes. Now Shein, Temu and a few other large factories are being sued. France started with Shein a few months ago. The quality was poor, the clothes didn’t really last and there was no real refund for the shabby items. The clothes ads make the items look great. Yet now, The United States, more countries in Europe and the UK have joined in. I was surprized as over the years there have been many companies selling cheap goods pretending that they were upscale. It is beginning to look as if the low prices are just a gimick not only with clothes, but groceries, cars, and other items including electronics. Often they appear to be a good deal with a name brand then they fizz out and you are back to square one. Sometimes the shops that seem to have really good deals don’t. Looking for a good deal is not easy. Even the groceries compete but who wants to go to three or four? Take college books for example. In America the cost is astronomical. In Ireland, they raely use books as they utilize online for almost everything. It is far and away more economical, don’t you agree?
