My family are big fans of tipping. We have had members who worked in the restaurant business and also when in college as servers. When I grew up my friend was a waitress and the pay wasn’t even one dollar. Pay is different today, though. There were celebrities who tipped very well. Elvis was a large tipper. He treated people fairly. Bruce Willis was also a high tipper. He gave one hundred dollars per drink. There was a well known San Antonio Spurs basketball star who did not believe in tipping. There is a particular restaurant in Atlanta where the celebrity, namely JLo is rude entitled and doesn’t tip according to the servers. That is what all they have all stated. If I worked there I would avoid her and let the manager or supervisor deal with her. She didn’t start out wealthy, why does she treat the people who did not and do work hard and treat her well? At the Sundance Festival a waiter wrote in and said that Steve Carell and his family were kind, considerate and tipped very well. Another person wrote in that Carlos Santana was the best tipper and the most kind and humble. If he brought his family the tip was even larger. There were several people that wrote in about no tippers or low ones. I only mentioned two as I thought that was enough. How are you at tipping? In the Good Gus series, tipping didn’t exist in Pecos.
