Age

As we age we realize that we can’t nor have  the time plus  don’t want to do many things. As a young girl I always hated loud noises and places. As people age they feel the same. As most of us age we hate the fact that we cannot do all the things we used to. I think that is why people still play tennis and raquetball as they become older. Another thing that happens is when we age our hair thins or worse falls out. I just saw an article today that men are  shaving their heads as it is easier than some hair on their heads. There are so many products for women it is unimaginable. It is highly profitable. Many of us have bones and fingers that ache. Not on my top ten list. Now many older people dislike last minute plans. However, there are the individuals such as myself who always preferred to plan in advance. I have always found it more convenient. Many people prefer their pets to people. They seem to be happier. Several older individuals  discover that a short temper just isn’t worth it. My late husband had one and even he figured that out. I will say that technology does get on my nerves and now with AI it is a nightmare when you call most customer service of companies. Half the time they hang up and you end up redialing four or five times. When I was young I hated crowds and I still don’t like them today. This is also true of most older people. When I saw the Beach Boys it was outdoors in San Diego, California in a small venue. It was great. What do you dislike as you age? In the Good Gus series I did not bring up aches and pains, big crowds, or even last minute plans. The books bring joy into a child’s life.
