Water is very important to the planet. However, many people take it for granted. Last year many areas of the world received extra rainfall including California. Many of the lakes were filled to capacity. Now with the fires everything has changed. I have seen people criticize Kim Kardashian over her use of water. Why? What about all the people who have or did have green lawns, lovely flower gardens, and let’s not forget all the individuals with swimming pools. Where are the complaints against those people? I do not know Kim Kardashian, however I do know she has been very generous to many charities. I am wondering if all the people with pools and green lawns can say the same. Not having water is very difficult. I currently live in a home that does not have insulated pipes which my daughter and I discovered by accident. All of a sudden as the temperature dropped so did the amount of water out of our faucets. Last week was very difficult. If you ever wonder about a lack of water, try taking a cold shower and washing your hair. It feels as if you are freezing and that is with a heater on in the bathroom. This Tuesday through today has been great. Real water and hot has felt marvelous. Conservation of water is important. When I was young we did have short term drouts. It was not easy being a girl with a lack of water. The family didn’t water their lawns, nor did the neighbors. We had to conserve until hurricane season which was not fun.
