Envy

If you stop and think about it, envy is poison. I saw an article that said that and all I could think is how true that statement really is.  I have suddenly been receiving articles about narcissists. Just as I started this blog I received another email but it was about if they realize when they lose someone important or significant in their lives. They really do have a jealousy issue.  They are so unsure of themselves that envy is poison to them as it destorys them. Not to mention that due to those feelings they try to hurt others.  Jealousy starts as children if another child has a better toy or if they are wearing raggedy clothes and can clearly see another child in nice attire. A narcissist child learns from his or her parents.  Their inferiority spills on them literally.  There are children who do not care how others look. All they interested in is a fun playmate which is as it should be.  As a child grows so does the envy. In time, it does turn to something negative in their minds.  The adult narcissists, particuarly the men who beat their wives, girlfriends, children or other family members are the worst.  Their envy of them, their success, homes, cars, clothes and even positions takes it toll internally in them and results in extreme behavior.  I saw a video the other day about a woman who had a broken arm. Her friend tried to convince her to leave her husband but she said she couldn’t. The result of this beating was from the husband believing she was flirting with a sales clerk that she spoke to for a few minutes. The evil from his heart transferred into hurting her. She told her friend she could not leave as he would kill her and her mother.  She said there was just nothing she could do. The friend was shocked. She tried to change her mind but she told her that he was a really good liar and people always believed him.  This is why the prisons are full of men who could not control themselves.  That is why envy is poison don’t you agree? I didn’t want to include envy in the Good Gus series. I wanted excitement and adventure for the young reader. Give an e-book a try. “Misplaced Trust” is full of envy. A good e-book read is only a download away. Visit the site and download an e-book. The books are available in e-book from the sites www.goodgusbooks.com and www.misplacedtrustbook.com. “Misplaced Trust” has a five-star rating on Amazon. It is about true crime and greed.
