Where ever I go, children seem to like me. I was in a discount department store recently when a little girl ran up to me and gave me a hug. Her mother was embarrassed and apologized. I told her there was no reason to apologize. Sometimes when I am walking doing grocery shopping children stare and smile at me. I am not wearing my big white hat or my cowgirl clothes and yet they still smile and wave at me. As an author, even though I am not as popular yet as I would like to be, its nice to know that children like me. My goal in the Good Gus series is to make reading enjoyable and teach children about kindness to others. I hope you will take the time to read my books to your children.
