Here we go again! The political elections are on in the United States. Not only are there an inordinate amount of commercials, but we receive robocalls and texts. They all attack each other. Families go against each other because of the views of the various politicians. In the attacks they defend themselves or say something that makes no sense. In Ireland, the political elections did not involve all of this. We did not receive any of the harassment that occurs in this country. The worst part is that none of them tell the truth. Years ago I read an article about individuals going into politics. They all became quite wealthy before leaving office. Look at the politicians today, in this country. They are all millionaires. Trump was rich when he went into office. Look at the real monetary worth of any and all politicians. It will shock you. Yet, they take huge salaries and promise to reduce our taxes. Nothing ever changes. I think the continual verbal attacks are horrific. They are also on YouTube. If you hope to look at something on YouTube, you must cope with some type of political ad first. Plus, if you have a fax, they try calling it. It’s now only a few weeks away but still it’s too much and too far. The aftermath is even better. They put up their political signs all over the cities and towns and then they take their sweet time collecting them. Sometimes they leave them there and wait until they blow away and the trash collector has to clean up after them. There were no political elections in the Good Gus series for obvious reasons.
