Life is a Responsibility

Life is a responsibility, even though most individuals do not look at it that way and they really should as we are only here a short time. Everyone thinks they have all the time in the world, but they do not. Part of the reason, I think, that people commit crimes, is because they never believe they will get caught. Then, when they go to prison or jail, they think that the next time they will succeed. The whole point is that they end up wasting their lives living in misery. This is also true of people who are always in a bad mood. They blame everyone else for their problems rather than recognize that life is a responsibility and they should rise to the occasion. It’s easier to say they had a rough childhood. Once you are an adult it is time to face up to everything and let go of the past. Many people spend so much time reliving their past that they forget about living in the now. There are all types of videos, coaching, and programs offered on the internet to change a person’s life. These programs and affirmations work for some people but not everyone. The sponsors all say the same thing. If you do not believe in yourself, they will not work. For example, many of these advertisers all had issues before they started recognizing that life is a responsibility and that it was up to them to take action. A few of these individuals were broke and one, Dr. Joe Vitale, was even homeless. Today, they are all wealthy. They took matters into their own hands and realized that thinking positively is important as well as putting forth effort. In the Good Gus series, everyone valued their lives and took full responsibility. They all worked together to bring in crops, do cattle drives, and plan events that benefited the entire community. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones. Hard copies, personally autographed, are available through our website www.goodgusbooks.com along with past blogs for your reading enjoyment. Digitizing for all the books is coming soon!
