Many people do not have any type of willpower. This is part of the reason that people overeat as they cannot control their willpower. Once a person decides to change their eating habits is when everything changes and their willpower swings into effect. Lately there are so many videos about losing weight, eating healthy and starting exercise. There are also the easy way out ads that offer various diet products, including medications, and various gummies to help drop the weight. The most written about is the medication on social media as it appears that a number of people have lost their desired weight including celebrities. However, my question is what happens after the weight is gone? This is where willpower comes into play. I have known people who could not pass by a fast food restaurnat without getting food. This is also true of smoking. In the early years of the last century smoking was exceedingly popular. There were even radio commercials by doctors stating it was good for a person’s health. I hope they enjoyed their money as it wasn’t long before the cancer rate rose. It just took a while to figure out why. Over time, various foods were introduced with a number of harmful chemicals. Now today, Boar’s Head, which always had a reputation of excellence, chemical free products is being recalled due to a deadly outbreak of food poisoning. This was truly shocking to me. I specifically used this brand for sandwhiches for my children when they went to school. Obviously, times have changed. The value of willpower cannot be underestimated. Because alcohol is so readily available and acceptable, people often have a complete lack of willpower when it comes to drinking too much. Do you know people who have no willpower?
