No Time

Have you ever noticed that the people who do the least always claim they have no time? Why is that have you ever wondered? We give the example to our children that we have no time for things. In reality, we are teaching them that we don’t manage our time so then they won’t. For example, a child and including us when we were young, had to do a project for school. When I was young you either went to the library or if your parents were smart, they bought the various editions of encyclopedias at the grocery which were readily available for us at home. Then we could look up the data we needed and do the report. This was particularly helpful if the library was too far away. Today children have the internet. However, if a parent appears to be too busy or can’t be bothered, they will end up doing poorly in school without some form of guidance. Learning to organize and plan your project is a learning skill that carries us through life. In today’s world, particularly in the office, the phrase “no time” is quite prevalent. I am a person with a messy desk but I always accomplish all of my tasks and projects on time. However, there are many individuals who do have a messy desk who cannot find anything let alone complete a normal amount of tasks. Do you believe people when they say they have no time or do you think they are just disorganized? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
