I saw an article about a woman who had been thinking about reconnecting with a former boyfriend who was untrue. Her adult children were furious as they well should be. What is it that people do not understand? If he was a cheater before, he has not changed. He has just learned to hide it better. On Facebook, there are continous clips about primarily men being untrue to their wives, girlfriends and even disloyal to their friends. People have a set personality. They rarely change. Stop and think about it. Why are there so many groups to help people to change and turn their lives around? It is simply because it is a great deal of work and they can’t always succeed. I saw a different article about a man that became a bully as a teen. As an adult he eventually wondered why. It was easy for him as he had a different lifestyle that wasn’t recognized when he was young. Once he figured it out, he stopped being a bully even as an adult. However, the untrue partner or spouse cannot always turn themselves around. Often they marry a younger man or woman who is only after their money. Then they want out once the money is gone. That is followed by the former partner or spouse begging to return to their former life. By then, it was always too late. The reels that I have found unbelievable are the stories about the hard working female partner or spouse that takes care of everything including the inlaws. Then, when the man says good-bye, the inlaws are at first happy until they learn quickly that she was paying all the bills. They automatically assumed that their child was marrying someone much better when in reality it was just a huge mistake. When a best friend turns on a person, whether male or female, it can hurt. I knew a woman who turned on her best friend for money. I sometimes wonder how her life is today. Have you encountered untrue spouses, partners, friends or even family members?
